Announcements and Important Events
Greetings! Here is the latest update from the Kelloggsville Athletic Department. While a lot of things are still up in the air, there are some things we do know. No matter when it is that we will be allowed to resume, things will be different. Our athletic department is working out a plan that will follow CDC, MHSAA, and NFHS guidelines to keep our athletes and coaches safe. Further information regarding any summer workouts and the fall sport season will be posted as soon as it is made available. In the meantime, athletes are encouraged to individually work out at home. For the 20-21 school year, the MHSAA will allow a one-year extension of the previous year’s physical with the utilization of an MHSAA Sports Health Questionnaire. This means, if your student already has a physical on file with the Athletic Office dated April 15, 2019 or later, he/she will not be required to be seen by a health care professional, but will still need to complete the MHSAA Sports Health Questionnaire. Kelloggsville Public Schools reserves the right, however, to require an athlete to have an updated physical if we see fit. This questionnaire can be found on the athletics webpage www.kvilleathletics.org under the forms and links tab. This form must be completed and turned into the Athletic Office prior to participating in any practices. It can be signed electronically and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or returned to the High School. As always, if you have further questions you may contact the Athletic Office at 616-532-1594. Thank you for your patience. Stay safe. We’ll see you soon.
